Wan J. Kim joined the firm as a partner in November 2007, after previously having been at the firm from 1997-1998. His practice focuses on trials, complex civil litigation, and governmental investigations. Mr. Kim graduated with honors from the University of Chicago Law School, clerked for Judge Buckley on the United States Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, and began his career through the Honors Program of the U.S. Department of Justice, Criminal Division. Mr. Kim also has served as an Assistant United States Attorney for the District of Columbia, a counsel to the Senate Judiciary Committee, and the Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Rights Division at the U.S. Department of Justice.
Mr. Kim is currently on a sabbatical leave from the firm.
